I have not done it myself, but it is my understanding that you should have your gas tank off and that the access to the spark plug shoud be clear.
I'll leave it to the mechanics to follow up and give you more details.
I look forward to hearing the answer. I'm thinking of doing the spring PM myself instead of taking it in to the dealer. I figure I should get my hands a little dirty and have some fun with it.
